Our 14 Nights 5 Star August Umrah Package is for UK families and pilgrims who want to use the summer holidays for a longer Umrah and stay in a well known hotel in Makkah. You spend 7 nights in Makkah at the Hilton in Jabal Omar and 7 nights in Madinah, which gives you time to perform Umrah, pray in both Harams every day and rest properly between prayers.
It is one of our longer Umrah packages from the UK, and your return flights, hotels, Saudi visa and transfers are all arranged by one team at Aqdas Travel.

From £1,249 per person. You can hold your place with a deposit and pay the rest before you travel. August is a popular month for UK families because of the school summer holidays, so it is best to book early.
Before You Book: August Heat
August is one of the hottest months in Saudi Arabia, and daytime temperatures in Makkah are often above 43°C. Most pilgrims perform Tawaf and Sa’i after Fajr or late in the evening and rest in their air conditioned room in the middle of the day. If you are travelling with elderly relatives, young children or anyone with a health condition, speak to your GP before you book.

Why Choose This Package?
Two weeks gives you time to do more than the basics. In Makkah you can perform your Umrah, rest, and then return to the Haram for extra Tawaf and prayers in the cooler hours of the early morning and evening. Staying at a Hilton in Jabal Omar means a short walk to the Haram and a comfortable, air conditioned room to come back to in the August heat.
In Madinah, the hotel is only a few minutes from Masjid Nabawi and close to the women’s gates, so the whole family spends very little time walking in the sun. You can pray at the mosque, book your Rawdah visit on the Nusuk app and see the main sites such as Quba Mosque.

Frequently Asked Questions
How hot is it in August?
Makkah is often above 43°C during the day, and nights stay warm. Plan your Tawaf and Sa’i for early morning or late evening, drink plenty of water and rest indoors in the afternoon.
How far are the hotels from the Harams?
The Hilton in Jabal Omar is around a 6 to 9 minute walk from Masjid al Haram. Al Eiman Royal Hotel is around a 4 to 5 minute walk from Masjid Nabawi.
Is this package good for families in the school holidays?
Yes. Two weeks fits well into the summer break, and both hotels have rooms suitable for families. Because of the heat, it works best for families with older children who can rest during the day.
Can I visit the Rawdah?
Yes, with a free permit from the Nusuk app. Each person can book one permit every 365 days, and there is an instant access option when you are close to the mosque.
What is not included in the price?
Breakfast and Ziyarah tours are not included, but you can add either of them when you book.
